We are excited to announce a new feature that enhances the calculation of offer sums in the invoice draft, allowing users to include subcases in their calculations.
Feature Details:
- Feature Key: OS-2369
- Created On: June 28, 2023
- Resolved On: June 20, 2024
- Feature Description: Users now have the option to include subcases in the calculation of the offer sum (Kontraktsum), invoiced total, and remaining amount on the invoice draft. This feature is specifically designed to cater to the needs of our Norwegian customers.
Impact: This feature provides greater flexibility and accuracy in managing project finances by allowing users to decide whether to include subcase amounts in the main case calculations. It enhances the transparency and comprehensiveness of financial reporting in project invoicing.
Implementation:
-
Checkbox Option:
- A new checkbox “Include subcases gjenstående…” is added to the invoice draft creation screen.
- When selected, the amounts from subcases are included in the calculation of the offer sum and other financial metrics displayed in the PDF.
- When deselected, the calculations are based only on the main case.
Testing and Deployment:
- The feature has been tested extensively in the live branch and verified to work as intended.
- Confirmed that selecting the checkbox correctly includes subcase amounts in the PDF calculations, while deselecting it restricts calculations to the main case.
Steps to Use the Feature:
- Navigate to a case with subcases.
- Create an invoice draft.
- Select the checkbox “Include subcases gjenstående…” to include subcase amounts in the calculations.
- Generate the PDF and verify that the calculations include the subcase amounts.
- Deselect the checkbox to revert to main case calculations only and verify the PDF reflects this change.
Acceptance Criteria:
- The offer sum and related financial metrics on the PDF correctly reflect the inclusion or exclusion of subcase amounts based on the checkbox selection.
- The functionality is limited to Norwegian customers as specified.
We believe this enhancement will significantly improve your project management and invoicing processes by providing more detailed and flexible financial calculations.
